Attestation Deadline Extension Form for AIU 2016 Now Available

Applications for Attestation Deadline Extension (ADE) for 2016 AIU (Adopt, Implement, or Upgrade to a Certified Electronic Health Record) are now available. ADEs are for eligible providers (EPs) participating in the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program who were unable to meet the AIU attestation deadline of May 31, 2017.

The ADE form must be submitted to HIT@health.ny.gov by June 14, 2017 to be considered for an AIU attestation deadline extension.  A justification is required explaining the extenuating circumstances beyond the EP’s control that prevented attesting to AIU by the deadline.

NYC REACH has developed resources for providers looking for assistance with AIU – these resources include an attestation guide, and an AIU walkthrough developed by New York State Medicaid. These resources and many more, can be access on the NYC REACH Resource Library.
