Now Available: Applications for Meaningful Use 2016 Attestation Deadline Extension

Applications for Attestation Deadline Extension (ADE) for 2016 Meaningful Use are available.

ADEs are for eligible providers (EPs) participating in the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program who were unable to meet the attestation deadline of September 15, 2017.

EPs who were notified by NYS DOH that a blanket ADE was applied to their 2016 Meaningful Use attestation should not submit an ADE form.
The ADE form must be submitted to HIT@health.ny.gov by September 30, 2017 to be considered for a 2016 Meaningful Use attestation deadline extension.  A justification is required explaining the extenuating circumstances that prevented an EP from attesting to MU by the deadline.

For questions or to request support, please contact NYC REACH at (347) 396-4888 or email pcip@health.nyc.gov.

To prepare for Meaningful Use attestation, EPs should review the available Meaningful Use resources available on the NYC REACH Resource Library.

For questions regarding ePACES and MEIPASS, please contact New York State Medicaid at (877) 646-5410 (option 1) or email meipasshelp@csc.com.
