DESCRIPTION:Poor medication adherence can interfere with the ability to treat many diseases\, leading to greater complications from the illness and a lower quality of life for patients. As a health care professional\, you can empower patients to take their medications as prescribed. \n\n\n\nThis medication adherence training will give your practice the tools it needs to successfully incorporate medication adherence into your daily workflows. The training will cover the following topics in eClinicalWorks: \n\n\n\n\nDocumenting a patient’s: pharmacy\, allergies\, and current medications\n\n\n\nCreating and using a patient Medication Adherence Questionnaire\n\n\n\nExternal Rx history\n\n\n\nPrescribing new medications\n\n\n\nRx patient education\n\n\n\nCounseling for medication adherence\n\n\n\nMedication adherence monitoring\n\n\n\nImplementing a workflow for assessing medication adherence\n\n\n\nPharmacy engagement and tools\n\n\n\n\nPresenter: Keisha Haynes-Leith\, Clinical Quality Specialist \n\n\n\nAttendees will have the opportunity to ask questions following the presentation.
