DESCRIPTION:In January\, the Health Department and Mayor’s Office of Food Policy released a multiagency strategy to address root causes of chronic disease and make progress towards the chronic disease-specific goals established by HealthyNYC. \n\n\n\nWe are inviting partners to join us for a webinar to continue the conversation around implementation of the city’s chronic disease strategy. The event will include a presentation on the recently updated NYC Food Standards along with a selection of community partner presentations and federal updates. \n\n\n\nThe webinar will be held on Wednesday\, October 29th from 1:00-2:00pm EST via Zoom.
