DESCRIPTION:Join the upcoming two-part webinar series hosted by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) in collaboration with the New York City (NYC) Health Department called “Enhanced Screening to Prevent and Proactively Address Perinatal HCV Transmission.”  \n\n\n\nThis series is designed to educate health care providers who come in contact with 1) people of childbearing age\, 2) pregnant people (during pregnancy\, perinatal and post-natal)\, and 3) infants and children perinatally infected with HCV on updated HCV screening guidelines\, management details\, and support with reporting requirements.   \n\n\n\nEach webinar will qualify for 1 CME\, and be presented by Erica Finfer\, MPH and Tara Melfi\, MPH\, CHES\, from the Bureau of Hepatitis\, HIV\, and Sexually Transmitted Infections.   \n\n\n\nAccreditation Statement \n\n\n\nThis activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Accreditation Requirements and Policies of the Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY) through the joint providership of the Westchester Academy of Medicine\, the NYS AAP Chapters 2&3 and the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
