The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYC DOHMH) is offering providers the opportunity to schedule live presentations at their site to learn about new behavioral health services covered by Medicaid Managed Care.

Primary care and behavioral health providers, front line social service staff, and community-based organization employees who have direct contact with Medicaid beneficiaries are encouraged to attend.

The goals of these presentations are to:

• Provide information on behavioral health and substance use services  covered by Medicaid Managed Care
• Share resources and services for patients with behavioral health issues
• Help providers respond to patients’ questions about behavioral health services
• Share strategies and explain the benefits of referring patients to behavioral health providers
