The New York State Department of Health is hosting a live security risk assessment webinar on Wednesday, November 28 from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM to inform providers about Meaningful Use security risk analysis requirements.

Eligible professionals participating in Meaningful Use must conduct an SRA to meet Meaningful Use Objective 1: Protect Patient Health Information.

This presentation will cover:

• The definition of “Security Risk Analysis” and other related terminology
• Resources for using the SRA toolkit developed by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC)
• Safety measures to consider when performing an SRA
• Common considerations when creating an action plan
