Open until March 9th: PCIP 2018 Physician Advisory Council Application

              March 2, 2018

The Primary Care Information Project’s (PCIP) 2018 Physician Advisory Council (PAC) application is available here for interested New York City providers. The PAC is a group of physicians who provide input on PCIP’s and the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’s projects, programs, and services.

PCIP intends for the PAC to fairly represent the diverse healthcare landscape of New York City. Nominations for practicing physicians who are either expert EHR users or late adopters are welcomed. Independent private practice primary care physicians from Staten Island are especially encouraged to apply.

Membership to the PAC involves the following commitments:

              • Attending 4 in-person quarterly meetings, at which Council members have an opportunity to offer feedback to PCIP regarding current projects and planned initiatives
                • Council members can also invite their office managers or other office staff to join the Council’s meetings
              • Contributing to ongoing discussions on various topics via email
              • Contributing two hours to a variety of projects, which could include speaking at PCIP events or participating in peer-to-peer educational opportunities

Physicians are welcome to nominate themselves or other physicians by completing the 2018 Physician Advisory Council Application. Applications are due by Friday, March 9, 2018.
