The Mental Health Service Corps (MHSC) places full-time, fully-funded, masters-level mental health counselors and social workers in primary care sites to close gaps in behavioral health services. Eligible sites must be able to provide a private space for the MHSC clinician to see patients, allow them to access the practice’s EHR, and establish processes for them to meet a requirement of 20 to 25 patient-facing clinical hours per week.
