The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has updated the list of electronic clinical quality measures (eCQMs) for Meaningful Use and other programs in performance year 2019.

The list includes newly available codes and replacement codes for codes that have expired and were removed from the list. Learn more on the eCQI Resource Center website.

Requirements for reporting eCQMs in performance year 2019 have not changed. Providers participating in Meaningful Use will still need to report on any 6 eCQMs relevant to their scope of practice.

Other programs affected by this change include:

• The Quality Payment Program: Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) and Advanced Alternative Payment Models (Advanced APMs)
• Comprehensive Primary Care Plus (CPC+)
