To submit performance data for the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System 2018 performance year, eligible clinicians must obtain and/or verify their EIDM credentials.

Eligible clinicians (ECs) must log in to the Quality Payment Program Portal with their enterprise identification management (EIDM) user ID and password to submit performance data. Note: The 2018 performance year ends on December 31, 2018.

• For ECs who do not have an EIDM account: Visit the CMS Enterprise Portal and select “new user registration.”
• For ECs who have an EIDM account: Log in to the Quality Payment Program Portal as soon as possible to avoid any difficulty logging in when you are ready to submit performance data. ECs must log in at least every 60 days or they will be locked out of the system.
