A new graphic novella, developed by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, shows patients how to prepare for a colonoscopy and explains the importance of the procedure.
In this novella, Preparing for a Colonoscopy: Sandra’s Story, Sandra prepares for a colonoscopy by consuming a liquid diet, avoiding opaque liquids, and arranging for someone to pick her up after the procedure. Copies are available in English, Spanish, Bengali, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Russian, Haitian Creole, Yiddish, and French.
