Measles Outbreak Updates and New MMR Report Guides

              June 3, 2019

New guides provide step-by-step instructions on how to run a report in MDLand, Office Practicum, or eClinicalWorks that allows providers to easily identify patients who never completed a measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine series.

These guides are available in the NYC REACH resource library Public Health Resources folder.

If you are unable to log in to the resource library or if you use a different EHR, please contact us at pcip@health.nyc.gov or 347-396-4888 for assistance. If you have any questions about how to run these reports, please reach out to your EHR vendor.

Updated information about the measles outbreak, including the neighborhoods with measles cases is available at: https://www1.nyc.gov/site/doh/health/health-topics/measles.page. As of May 29, there have been 550 confirmed cases in New York City since the outbreak began.

To subscribe to the Health Alert Network (HAN) from the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene or read recent alerts on measles, click here.
