NYC DOHMH Diabetes Stakeholder Convening with diaTribe Foundation

May 28 @ 3:00 pm 4:00 pm EDT

Please join the NYC Health Department for an opportunity to connect with fellow diabetes educators from across the city. This convening will feature a special presentation by the diaTribe Foundation highlighting two of their programs:

Time in Range Coalition

The Time in Range Coalition is an effort to engage the diabetes ecosystem, including nonprofits, professional societies, industry, and patient advocates, to drive awareness and adoption of time in range (TIR), as well as time above range (TAR) and time below range (TBR), as the primary glucose metric for daily management, complemented by HbA1c, in diabetes care as critical tools to improve the care of people with diabetes.

dStigmatize

Our mission is to create a culture of compassion that helps people with diabetes live well with a serious but manageable condition by sharing stories, trusted information and actions. We believe that addressing diabetes stigma is an essential missing element of effective diabetes care and mental wellness—and we aim to change that.
