              MIPS Study: 2018 Performance Credit Available for Participants

              March 2, 2018

              The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) invites eligible clinicians participating in MIPS to enroll in a study to share their experience reporting MIPS data for the 2017 performance period. The study aims to:

              • Examine clinical workflows and data collection methods;
              • Understand challenges facing clinicians when collecting and reporting quality data; and
              • Recommend changes to reduce clinician burden, improve data collection and reporting, and enhance clinical care.

              If eligible clinicians complete an application and are selected for the study, they may receive full credit for the 2018 MIPS Improvement Activities performance category.

              Applications to participate in the study will be accepted through March 23, 2017. For more information about the study, please visit the CMS website or email MIPS_Study@abtassoc.com.
