The curriculum for the National Diabetes Prevention program is now available in English, Spanish, Bengali, Haitian Creole, and Korean on the NYC REACH website.
The National Diabetes Prevention Program, which uses a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention-approved curriculum, is an evidence-based lifestyle change prevention program for adults who have prediabetes or are at high risk for developing type 2 diabetes. The year-long program consists of 16 one-hour weekly sessions followed by monthly maintenance sessions.
