Patients can find free blood pressure check locations throughout the city using the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’s HealthMap, which displays a range of free healthcare services.
The HealthMap shows pharmacies across the five boroughs where patients can check their blood pressure for free at a self-serve kiosk or with pharmacy staff assistance. Visit http://nyc.gov/health/map and click “blood pressure” to find these services.
For additional hypertension resources, download the Hypertension Action Kit. This contains many provider resources, clinical tools, and patient education materials in multiple languages to help patients achieve blood pressure control.
